While friends of ours are celebrating major milestones in their lives and careers or they’re just sharing fun stories and experiences, the only thing I can seemingly talk about is the new carpet we have.
It is something to talk about, mainly because I could have never imagined finding one would be so easy nor did I imagine we would find something that fits with all the colors we have introduced to our living room.
It’s easy how fast our priorities and the the things that make us happy shift.
All I want to talk about is how much I love our home, seeing that right now it is what’s taking center stage in my life.
I have always been a homebody but I used to feel guilty for staying at home when I should be going out and doing things that are “normal” for someone age. Now I don’t feel guilty at all because at least I can attribute this to being proud of the home we have built.
