I don’t know how it is possible for time to have gone by so slowly and yet so quickly in the past week or so. Let’s just say it has been the most exciting one so far.
Even when we were deep in the planning process, it was hard for me to imagine how it would all come together. Looking back, maybe we should have given ourselves a bit more time between events to take everything in.
It is almost impossible to feel caught up when in one week, you have your katb kteb, you finalize moving to your new home, your whole family comes from abroad and you need to spend time with them, the wedding, the first night spent together, visiting family after the wedding, and then jetting off to the honeymoon (without sleep for three days).
There is no better evidence to how behind I feel in my heart and thoughts than the fact that my family and friends are still sending me photos and videos from the wedding while I am sending them things from the honeymoon. In fact, when it comes to this blog, I’m nowhere near caught up on describing the wedding day and the little elements I’ve been dying to share with you.
But while I may not be “caught up'” I have to say that being married is a wonderful state to be in. It has to be one of the greatest feelings to have my husband sitting next to me, reading the posts, proofreading them as we go. Or him surviving the crazy that is Primark. It seems we are off to a good start.
Mabrouk !!!! and enjoy your vacation ❤
Thank you Maya! It was a great vacation and even though we’ve been back for a while, I’m still struggling to get over my post-vacation blues.
You both look beautiful 😍😍 Mabrouk!
Thank you!
